Cardi B has spoken out about what led her to quit separation from Offset, her husband. Offset after filing for divorce in 2020.
The Bronx star appeared on the first show of REVOLT’s The Jason Lee Show which first aired in audio this Tuesday (January 16). In the interview, she discussed her relationship with the Migos singer, Cardi shared how he stood up for his family when she had filed for divorce.
Offset and I weren’t on the same page, said Bardi. “Like, I filed for divorce and everything in the same year that everything was happening. Since the main thing that really disturbed me was that he didn’t talk about it, I’m going to let him talk about it. Since I think that’s a key component of his tale, I’d like to hear him say that.
She added, “The primary thing that I wanted him to stop and everything, he stopped and he changed, and it showed me that he wanted to change for me.
Cardi was divorced in September of 2020, in September 2020, citing “irreconcilable differences.” Infidelity wasn’t mentioned as a reason for the divorce when she filed for divorce, despite the Migos star’s suspected affair having been a source of contention several times during their relationship. This included the time Cardi abruptly left his partner in December of 2018.
A few months after, Cardi filed a dismissal “without prejudice” – meaning that she has the option to resubmit the divorce petition at a later time.
The couple got married on September 17, 2017, following just a little over a year of dating. They have two children with each other A four-year-old daughter called Kulture and a one-year-old son named Wave. the one-year-old son who is named Wave.
The summer before Infidelity-related rumors swirled around the couple once more after a Twitter troll claimed Offset was involved in an affair with Saweetie in addition to claiming said that Cardi had been “lying” about it.
Cardi rejected the claims and said that the tweeter did not have evidence.
